Stella Maris Plaza is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 42th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 40.2 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Monterol settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
