Matejina uvala is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 185th place out of 216 beaches in the Zadar region 18.1 km away from its center, the city of Zadar. It is one of the beaches of Vrsi settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
