Galeb beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 25th place out of 378 beaches in the Split-Dalmatia region 20.8 km away from its center, the city of Split. It is one of the beaches of Duce settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.
It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area.
