Soline Beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 15th place out of 378 beaches in the Split-Dalmatia region 42.9 km away from its center, the city of Split. It is one of the beaches of Soline settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking. This beach is popular for windsurfing or kiteboarding.
