Makneli beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 43th place out of 315 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region 27.8 km away from its center, the city of Rijeka. It is one of the beaches of Brzac settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.
It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. If you swim far away from the beach the water depth is around 5 meters which is good for snorkeling and free diving. There is not much natural shade but you can rent a umbrella and a plastic chair. Very good place for relaxation."
