Playa Del Norte is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 10th place out of 10 beaches in the Ciego de Avila region 94.1 km away from its center, the city of Ciego de Avila. It is one of the beaches of Cayo Coco settlement, just 21.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.
It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.
Playa Del Norte coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The coastline of Playa Del Norte is covered with snow-white sand. Unfortunately it's not very clean, the surface has a mixed fraction. Turquoise and clear water sparkles in the sun. The entrance to the water is a mixture of sand and rocks, so it is highly recommended to wear aqua shoes.
For the main activity - sunbathing, there are no sun loungers on the Playa Del Norte, so you need to take personal items with you and there is no natural shade, so be careful on a hot day.
The entrance to the water is very smooth, the bottom is comfortable. The prevalence of sharks in the area is low.
Playa Del Norte is partially protected from waves.
There are few boats in the bay.
