Kalamaki Beach (Alimos beach or παραλία Kαλαμακίου) is in the 101th place out of 410 beaches in the Attica region 8.4km away from its center, the city of Athens. It is one of the beaches of Alimos settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a tiny several bays coastline with green water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
