Vouliagmeni Lake is located on the Saronic Gulf (part of Aegean Sea) and it is in the 28th place out of 409 beaches in the Attica region 20.3 km away from its center, the city of Athens. It is one of the beaches of SOS Children's Village Vari settlement, just 3.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a straight coastline with green pure water and concrete cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Vouliagmeni Lake is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
