Camping Batis beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 2th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 89.1 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Agios Syllas settlement, just 2.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
Camping Batis beach is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
