Playa Holbox is located on the Gulf of Mexico (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 33th place out of 98 beaches in the Quintana Roo region The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth.
