Azla beach is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 24th place out of 68 beaches in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region 56.7 km away from its center, the city of Tangier. It is one of the beaches of Azla settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.
It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
Azla beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
