Khem Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 3th place out of 53 beaches in the Kien Giang region 115.4 km away from its center, the city of Rach Gia. It is one of the beaches of Duong To settlement, just 9.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. "This beach is a sight to behold, stretching out for about 5 kilometers. The water and sand are pristine, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby serving up seafood and Vietnamese dishes. If you venture further inland, you'll find a fantastic pasta joint that serves the best pasta I've ever had."

"We had a great time at the beach, which wasn't too crowded when we visited. Other reviews have mentioned that it's now all private, but we took a taxi and were dropped off at the main resort, and we were able to access the beach without any issues. I'm sure it will become more crowded once construction is completed and more people start traveling again post-pandemic."
