Ko Poda Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 7th place out of 75 beaches in the Krabi region 15 km away from its center, the city of Krabi. It is one of the beaches of Railay settlement, just 5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Ko Poda Beach is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
