Koh Lao Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 14th place out of 97 beaches in the Phang-nga region 42.9 km away from its center, the city of Phang-nga. It is one of the beaches of Haad Klong Jaak settlement, just 6.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
