Bredene beach

The beach is really nice, and the dunes provide a great spot to sit as they offer protection from the wind.

Hofstade strand

It's a really enjoyable spot to visit, but it would be great if they offered a wider variety of food and drinks. The mini Margarita pizza costs 15.50€ and is only 20cm or smaller in size.

Klein strand oostende

We were not allowed to swim, as the beach was quite crowded. However, it was well-maintained with plenty of guards and police officers ensuring safety. Additionally, there was a dedicated rescue team keeping a watchful eye on beachgoers. The beach was conveniently surrounded by a variety of shops, a bazaar, and numerous restaurants.

Groenendijk Strand
10 Lirianne LNL

This is a stunning location that maintains the natural beauty of the area.

De Panne Strand

The beach is simply amazing - it's clean, wide, and has golden sand.

Ostend Beach
9 Ilsa

While on a brief trip to the city, we stumbled upon a stunning beach that left a lasting impression. The beach was impeccably clean and boasted a picturesque walking distance, with nearby parks adding to the beauty of the area. It was conveniently located just 10 to 15 minutes away from the main center, making it easily accessible for visitors. Although we visited during the rainy and windy month of October, we could still imagine the beach coming to life with more activities during the summer season. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the beach and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Please note that lifeguards supervise 6 beaches in the country, but you should rely on more than just them, remember the elementary rules, as lifeguards are not on duty around the clock, even on equipped beaches!

Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.
