Damme - all beaches

The beach is lovely and well-maintained, and it's easy to reach on foot or by bike (although you'll need to climb over the dike). The sight of large ships passing by is a major highlight for the kids.

The beach is really nice, and the dunes provide a great spot to sit as they offer protection from the wind.

It's a great spot to unwind and relax 😌, especially because it's not crowded on weekends.

We were not allowed to swim, as the beach was quite crowded. However, it was well-maintained with plenty of guards and police officers ensuring safety. Additionally, there was a dedicated rescue team keeping a watchful eye on beachgoers. The beach was conveniently surrounded by a variety of shops, a bazaar, and numerous restaurants.

The food was excellent and the service was fabulous

While there may be more stunning beaches out there, it's hard to argue with the claim that this beach is one of the most beautiful in the area. The sand is impeccably clean and the beach is spacious with a breathtaking view. The water is invitingly deep without being too steep, and the tide is gentle. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. However, the presence of dogs and horse droppings can be a bit of a nuisance. While they do add a certain charm to the scenery, they can detract from the overall experience. Additionally, the dunes can be crowded with tourists, which can be a bit overwhelming.
