This beach would be ideal if it were possible to swim in the water. The view is incredible, and the wind, as well as the restaurants and snack bars, are decent. Due to Covid, not everything is open, but it's still worth visiting to appreciate nature while enjoying a beer. You can either bring your own or purchase one at the bars. Just be cautious of mosquitoes on the beach, and unfortunately, there is a lot of trash scattered on the sand. It's quite a mess, and you have to be careful when taking pictures to avoid capturing bottles or leftover food, which seem to be left behind as part of rituals by the Umbanda people.

While participating in forest fire prevention and combat training in Barra do Ribeiro, I had the opportunity to visit Praia da Picada. It's a truly picturesque place, with a unique charm. I heard about Toco, a dog who seems to be more like a fish in a dog's body, as he absolutely adores the water. It's definitely worth experiencing firsthand!

Praia do Veludo

This is a lovely spot to spend the day lounging on the grass, taking photos, and having a picnic. It's also a great spot for fishing. Unfortunately, there is some litter around, including plastic wrapped around the trees and rubbish on the shore. Additionally, the stones have been stained with wax from religious events. Despite this, it's definitely worth a visit, although if you plan to stay for the afternoon, I suggest heading a few meters away to an area with cleaner surroundings and stunning stones.
