Sveti Ivan beach

This beach is absolutely stunning! It's made up of pebble stones and the water is crystal clear and transparent. Swimming in this amazing place is breathtaking, especially with the view of the town of Lubenice on the cliff. To get to the town, it takes around 15-20 minutes from the main road, but the path is narrow and surrounded by stone walls, so be careful. Once you enter the town, there's a large parking lot on the left and the hiking trail to the beach is located near the coffee bar. The signs along the path are well-marked, and it takes about 1 hour downhill and 1.5 hours uphill. The upper part of the trail is through the woods, so there's plenty of shade, but some parts can be slippery due to the stones, so be sure to wear hiking shoes or sneakers. Overall, it was a wonderful experience on Cres. I visited on a cloudy day, and although the water was freezing, the experience was unforgettable. ❤️

This beach is truly remarkable! The atmosphere is pristine and the water is crystal-clear. Additionally, there are a variety of bars and restaurants located nearby for your convenience. Plus, the showers are complimentary which is a nice touch. I strongly suggest visiting this beach.

The beach was quite congested with German tourists who had parked their caravans right behind the shore. They had spread their towels, set up tents and even brought their stand-up paddleboards with them. Even when they went back to their caravans, the beach still felt quite occupied. However, despite the crowds, it was a fantastic location to soak in the sunset while bathing in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

This stunning beach cove offers an ideal spot for swimming and cliff jumping, with the added bonus of crystal clear waters. However, due to its compact size, you may find yourself in close proximity to your fellow beach-goers. The gentle waves make it a safe option for children, and even those venturing close to the cliffs need not worry about strong currents. The underwater world is teeming with diverse marine life, including fish, vultures, and other intriguing creatures. Be sure to conserve some energy for the strenuous walk back up to the top of the cliff, and take advantage of the available parking.
