Resting by the sea for each traveler is associated with different activities. Someone loves complete relaxation and silence, while others need activity. Our configurator will always help you choose a beach that meets your personal needs.

If a beach holiday for you is primarily the sound of the surf, the cries of seagulls over the pier and leisurely walks along the coast, then you are definitely a fan of calm beaches. The most popular beaches for such a holiday in the vicinity of Split are Kasjuni Beach, Osoje beach, Dugi Rat II beach.

Travelers with pets often face difficulties during their holidays, as there is often not enough information about pet-friendly beaches. The absence of special permission signs and the lack of up-to-date information on relevant resources are frequent problems. To solve this need, we are developing a special "Pet Friendly" filter and try to keep the information up to date. According to our records, there are about 13 approved pet-friendly beaches in Split

The list of available beach activities is certainly important, but for many travelers it is not a determining factor when choosing a vacation spot. Below you will find some information about the natural features of the beaches of Split, we hope that this information will help you find the place of your dreams.

The beaches of locality are mainly narrow. According to reviews of major beach experts and vacationers, most beaches have a high level of cleanliness. Pebbly beaches dominate the rest!

As pebble rocky beaches are common here, it's recommended to bring aqua shoes if you're sensitive to it. This way, your vacation will be as comfortable as possible.

Usually, the depth increases normally. If this is important to you, always use our filter to check for a particular beach.

41 out of 131 beaches in Split are partially protected from waves. These protections can be natural or man-made structures. If you're visiting the area during unstable weather, we recommend carefully choosing a place to swim, as high waves may not always be safe. Our filter can help you find a suitable beach.

A not-so-pleasant feature of the beaches in Split is the high density of boats, yachts, or other watercraft on some of them. There are about 48 such beaches, but this may vary depending on the season. If this is a concern for you, we recommend carefully checking the beaches of interest for this issue using our Boat filter.

Trogir beach

The beach offers a man-made shoreline, complete with sunshades and sunbeds at no extra cost. You can even take advantage of the changing room facilities without spending a dime. The water may not be crystal clear, but it's still a refreshing way to beat the heat. For those seeking a thrill, the sea attraction is available for a fee of 50HRK for 30 minutes. While it may seem pricey, the attraction remains largely unoccupied throughout the day, despite the beach being bustling with visitors. Perhaps a slight adjustment in pricing would attract more customers and increase profits for the owner over the season.

This beach is truly a delightful location with an abundance of opportunities for swimming. The crystal-clear water is pristine, and it is an ideal spot for children who are learning to swim. It is important to note that the beach is covered in pebbles rather than sand, so it is recommended to bring beach shoes if you have sensitive feet. However, the only drawback to this otherwise idyllic location was the amount of litter strewn about. Cigarette butts and bits of plastic and wrappers were unfortunately prevalent, and they tended to adhere to both you and your towel.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at this place. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chef went above and beyond to surprise my daughter with a birthday cake. I am truly grateful for their thoughtfulness!

This beach is perfect for swimming as the water is very calm and shallow for a good distance. It's a pebble beach and there are plenty of paddle boards and peddle boats available for rent.

This beach has crystal-clear waters and a charming pebble shoreline, making it a delightful spot for a day of relaxation. Additionally, there is a nearby camping site that can provide a convenient place to stay. While the beach itself is lovely, there is nothing particularly exceptional about it. It is important to note that reaching the beach can be a bit challenging due to the narrow road leading to it. The road only allows for one car to pass at a time, with some areas providing space for two vehicles. Unfortunately, during my visit, I encountered an aggressive taxi driver who was speeding in the opposite direction and nearly collided with my car. Despite my attempts to reason with him, he refused to back up, forcing me to reverse for a distance of 10 meters to find a spot for two cars. It is worth mentioning that taxi drivers in Croatia tend to be quite expensive compared to Uber drivers. If you do decide to visit this beach, there is parking available to the north for a fee of 4 euros per day.
