Esmeralda Beach

We had an amazing time at this beach during the last week of November! The food was fantastic and the entertainment shows were absolutely incredible. The circus and trapeze acts were truly spectacular! Unfortunately, the snorkeling wasn't great due to the rough waves and unclear water. I want to give a special shout out to Mathieu, the tennis instructor. Despite being young, he is incredibly talented and an excellent tennis coach. We were so impressed that we decided to have a private lesson with him. In just one hour, he made a significant improvement to our forehand shots and footwork! I highly recommend him if you're looking to enhance your game.

El Quemaito beach

The beach was absolutely incredible. It had a unique charm and was impeccably clean.

Playa Puerto chiquito
6 Alehandra

The beach is quite dirty, but it has a nice atmosphere and is located near an abandoned resort.

Playa Hicaco
8 Алина Петрова

This beach is a stunning destination that offers horseback riding and ATV excursions. It stretches along a lengthy coastline, free from any buildings. Although the locals enjoy picnics here, the limited number of visitors is mainly due to the poor road conditions. The sand on this beach has a lovely yellow hue, but if you're seeking a whiter sand experience, you may want to explore other nearby beaches.

Catalonia Bavaro beach
10 Aurelio Santoro

This beach is perfect for catching a breathtaking sunrise.

Juanillo Beach
8 Jaron James

The sandy shore was a true haven of tranquility, offering an abundance of comfortable seating options. The libations were passable, and the employees were quite attentive to our needs. Although we encountered a minor issue with payment, the overall beach experience was well worth the effort.

Please note that lifeguards supervise 57 beaches in the country, but you should rely on more than just them, remember the elementary rules, as lifeguards are not on duty around the clock, even on equipped beaches!

Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.
