Induruwa - all beaches

Very clean white sand on this very long beach . We enjoyed it . Nice area .

We're staying at Jungle Beach Camp for three nights, which is located about one-third of the way down this pristine beach. It's the only proper beach bar in this area, although there are a few hotels where we could have gone for food if we had a longer stay. The sand is beautiful, fine, and golden, and in the morning, you can see a few fishing boats setting out their nets, so there's a chance of having fresh catch on your dinner table that night. There's a road running parallel to the beach, and towards the northern end, you'll find several shops. It's like a small piece of paradise, and the only reason I'm deducting a star is because it would be great to have some sun shade umbrellas on the bar tables, especially during the afternoon when there's no natural shade due to the west-facing shoreline.

This beach is perhaps one of the most stunning and conveniently located on the island. It boasts a lengthy shoreline perfect for leisurely walks, and there are designated areas suitable for bathing, including safe spots for children. However, it is important to avoid swimming elsewhere due to potentially rough tides. During holidays, the beach tends to become crowded, and if you're in need of a snack, you can find a few vendors along the road. If collecting seashells is your thing, then this beach is the ideal spot. It's kindly requested that you refrain from littering or disposing of plastic, and instead, help maintain the cleanliness of the beach.
