Latest reviews on Suduwella's beaches

Hiriketiya Beach

The beach for surfing is truly remarkable. It is immaculately clean and offers affordable prices. The picturesque view is simply unbeatable. As a first-time surfer, I was fortunate to have a coach who, despite being a young kid, was incredibly skilled and helped us learn quickly. The king coconuts were also a delightful treat.

Talalla Beach
10 Kaelen Jovik

Upon arriving at the beach, I noticed it was quite secluded and there weren't many foreign visitors. The selection of restaurants on the beach was limited and pricey for locals. Nevertheless, the beach itself was stunning and unspoiled.

Dickwella Beach

The beach is a serene and picturesque destination, perfect for those seeking a tranquil retreat. However, it is not recommended for surfing due to the strong currents and waves. Additionally, swimming may not be the most appealing activity here. Nevertheless, the beach boasts crystal clear waters and is ideal for a refreshing jog or a leisurely stroll during sunset. The pristine environment is also worth mentioning, as it is well-maintained and free of litter.

Blue Beach
10 Liora Shange

This island is absolutely stunning, with crystal blue waters surrounding it. It's the perfect spot for camping, but be cautious when swimming. It's not too far from the main road, and vehicles can get close, although the parking area is quite small.

Lakshawaththa Beach
10 Sarala Fernando

This beach is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit.

Matara Beach

This beach is quite picturesque indeed, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's a paradise. Sure, it's a decent spot to escape the daily grind, but don't expect it to be a trouble-free haven. Families may find some amusement here, but let's not get carried away with the hype. The only thing that's truly convenient about this beach is the transportation options nearby. Oh, and let's not forget to mention the obligatory plea to protect the environment. How original. Thank you, but we'll pass.
