Latest reviews on Railay's beaches

Thale Waek Beach
10 Nirada Khamthong.

Krabi's Beach is an amazing place to visit! The sand is soft and clean, making it perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. The atmosphere is great, and the beach itself is beautiful. The island is a lovely place to unwind, and swimming is a great way to cool off. However, be aware of the big waves and jellyfish. If you didn't bring food with you, there are food stalls selling snacks, food, and drinks. The prices are a bit higher than what you'd find on the mainland, but everything is still great and worth the price for being on a faraway island. Just keep in mind that there might be an entrance fee if it's not included in your tour package.

Ko Poda Beach
10 Lena Petrovic.

This stunning beach is an island gem, though it's important to note that there isn't much else to do on the island. Pack your swimming gear, snorkel, mask, and fins and dive into the crystal clear waters. The beach offers some shade, as well as benches and toilets. It's all about the beach here, and this one is truly exceptional. The sand is the whitest of white, and the water is teeming with fish. Keep an eye out for the playful monkeys, but be sure to secure your belongings as they can be quite mischievous.

Railay Beach
10 Ludmilla Antonelli

The beach is really lovely and has a great selection of restaurants and bars. They offer some delicious vegetarian and vegan options. It's only accessible by boat and the last boat leaves at 5.30pm.

Ao Nang Beach

Typically, beaches located near bustling cities tend to be lackluster, but this particular beach is an exception. Stretching out for miles, it boasts numerous access points along the roadway. The far left end of the beach is particularly stunning. I found myself particularly enamored with visiting during the late hours of the night, when I could sit on a bench by the shore with a refreshing beverage in hand.

Pai Plong Beach

This beach is a sight to behold, and it can be reached with ease by taking the wooden path located behind The Last Fisherman Bar. However, during our visit, the water was not crystal clear, and hardly anyone was enjoying a swim. The sand is not the most pleasant either, and lying down exposes you to the unpleasant smell of dried dog feces. Despite these drawbacks, it is still a better choice than the unappealing and narrow beach located near the beach road in Ao Nang. Additionally, the view of the tree-covered rock is truly breathtaking.

Phra nang Cave Beach
10 Cosmin Moldovaru

Undoubtedly, the most exceptional beach in the vicinity. While it may experience a surge of visitors, venturing away from the Princess Cave segment will lead you to a tranquil spot to bask in the warm, crystal-clear waters. Unfortunately, the food boats are yet to return, so it's advisable to bring your own refreshments. If you continue walking towards the end, you'll discover charming coves and bays that will leave you feeling like you've found paradise.
