La Foret beach

Wow, what a stunning sight to behold! I highly suggest bringing along a trusty 4x4 or AWD ride to get to this beach, but don't fret if your vehicle isn't towering high. Mind you, we visited during a dry spell, so if you're planning on making a splash when it's wetter, you might need to aim higher. Sadly, I didn't capture any snapshots of our journey to share with you all.

Carat Shed beach

The pristine and immaculately maintained beach in La Brea, situated in the southern region of Trinidad, is a true gem. With its effortless accessibility, it is a breeze to locate and enjoy. The beach is a sight to behold, with its crystal-clear waters and soft, powdery sand. It is a haven for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts alike, with its tranquil ambiance and serene surroundings. The beach's upkeep is nothing short of exceptional, and it is evident that the caretakers take great pride in maintaining its cleanliness and beauty. All in all, this beach is a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Matura beach

The tour guide was exceptional in his services. However, the condition of the roads leading to the beach was quite poor and in dire need of maintenance.

Rampanalagas beach
10 Warren Singh

The prices are reasonable and the customer service is generally good. I would definitely come back without hesitation.

Cedros beach
10 Liora Vale

The water was peaceful and beautiful. The facilities could use some improvements, but overall it was clean. The stand selling local sweets and ice cream was fantastic!

Please note that lifeguards supervise 14 beaches in the country, but you should rely on more than just them, remember the elementary rules, as lifeguards are not on duty around the clock, even on equipped beaches!

Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.
