When we hear the word - the beach, in the head arises one established association - sea, sand and relax. But who says the sea has a monopoly on vacation? Often the lakes attract no less than the sea, and in some cases even more tourists than the seaside. Bautzen Reservoir can be attributed to this.

This beach is absolutely amazing and perfect for a holiday getaway. I highly recommend it. The water is clean and the beach is well-maintained. There are also exciting activities nearby such as a high ropes course and a mini golf course. Additionally, there are several small food trucks located next to the Ocean Bar. The dam is easily accessible by foot from the nearby parking lot. Plus, parking is free. If you're interested, you can rent stand up paddleboards (SUP's) and pedal boats at the Ocean Bar.
