This beach is a great place to have fun and enjoy the summer. There's plenty of room for activities and swimming. The atmosphere is relaxed, with families and groups of friends hanging out. It's easy to find a spot on the grass, pier, or beach to relax. The entrance fee of 4CHF for adults and 2CHF for children makes it a great value and highly recommended! 🌈

Badestrand Ipsach

Today, I went to Ipsach bathing beach on a Sunday and paid 10 Sfr for parking, which costs 2.50 Sfr per hour. However, during our parking time, we and around 40 other vehicles received a ticket for 120.-Sfr for parking on the mowed turf of the field, as there was no parking available. Although I understand that parking there was not allowed, I think 40 Sfr would have been a fairer penalty. This experience has made me hesitant to visit this beach again, especially as the parking lot is small and crowded. It's estimated that the municipality of Ipsach earns 168000.-Sfr in daily revenue from 40 vehicles paying 120.-Sfr each. Despite my mistake of overlooking the no-parking sign, I was surprised to see so many cars parked there already and paid my fair share. The beach itself is mostly stones, and the lawn was only decent up to the parking lot. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning to Ipsach bathing beach anytime soon.
