When we hear the word - the beach, in the head arises one established association - sea, sand and relax. But who says the sea has a monopoly on vacation? Often the lakes attract no less than the sea, and in some cases even more tourists than the seaside. Hallstatt Lake can be attributed to this.

We were worried that Hallstattsee would be too crowded, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it clean and peaceful. We really enjoyed our time here. You can have dinner, swim, or even go paddleboarding. Just keep in mind that sleeping, even in campers, is not allowed here.
