When we hear the word - the beach, in the head arises one established association - sea, sand and relax. But who says the sea has a monopoly on vacation? Often the rivers attract no less than the sea, and in some cases even more tourists than the seaside. Menalhyl River can be attributed to this.

This beach is amazing, possibly my top choice in Cornwall. It has everything you need for a perfect beach day. The parking is only £5 for the day, and there are toilets, cafes, pubs, shops, and more. The sandy beach, caves, rock pools, warm sea, and good waves for bodyboarding/surfing make it a great spot. It's well-maintained and clean, and dog-friendly too. I highly recommend a visit to this beach.
