Begin your journey through the streets and alleys of medieval Lecce, focusing on its Jewish community. Visit Via della Sinagoga, the ancient path that led to one of the most important synagogues in Salento. Next, discover Vico della Saponea and walk along Via Abramo Balmes, a street dedicated to one of the city's most influential Jewish figures. Visit the basement of the old synagogue which now houses the Jewish Museum. Here you will find purification tanks, mikvehs and a mezuzah. We will admire caves characterized by their "crystalline" water. Adriatic side itinerary: After a brief stop in Grotta Cazzafri, at the foot of Punta Meliso, we continue towards Grotta Terradico, Verduselle, Grotta del Soffio and Grotta della Vora. To be able to admire the beauty of these coves up close, we will make a small stop for a swim under the cliff and to enter the caves. Ionian side itinerary: The first cave you meet on the western side, close to Punta Ristola is the Grotta Porcinara, immediately followed by the Grotta del Diavolo, the Grotta del Fiume, the Grotta delle Tre Porte, the Caverna dei Giganti, Grotta della Stalla and the majestic Dragon cave. Here too a stop is planned to immerse yourself in the crystal clear water.
