This beach is a top choice for surfing enthusiasts 🌊🏖️. It's spacious with plenty of room for everyone. There's a promenade that stretches in both directions, complete with a separate bike path. The bike trails are fantastic, offering miles of dedicated paths along the coast for cycling enthusiasts 🏁🐙. Be aware of high tides.

This spot is small but incredibly tranquil! I highly recommend it - it's a real gem!

Famara Beach

At the start of the beach, closer to the town, there are fewer rocks, making it my preferred spot for swimming. There were plenty of surfers and the waves were nice, creating a great ocean vibe.

Playa de la Garita

A great place for locals to enjoy activities like jumping waves, sunbathing, and surfing. Those with dogs tend to stay on the quieter end of the beach, away from the Chiringuito bar. The two sides of the beach are divided by a ridge of stones. The sand level fluctuates with the tide. Unfortunately, the pier is currently unusable due to storm damage.

Playa de San Juan

We visited a beautiful untamed beach that offered breathtaking views of the towering cliff face above Famara. There were a couple of stone circles that provided shelter from the wind, although there was no wind on the day we went.

Piscina Natural Coloseo

Worth visiting, even though it's not the greatest. If you take a short two-minute walk to the left of the car park, you'll find a beautiful cave. Or, if you take a two-minute walk to the right, you'll find stairs leading down to the ocean with a great swimming area and a stunning viewpoint.
