Stunning beach that is worth the 1.3km hike from the car park (though you may have second thoughts on the way back to the car! There’s a pit toilet and rubbish bins at the nearby campground but apart from that, there are no facilities. There is a good chance you’ll have the beach all to yourselves so it’s a great place to explore. The waves were huge and dumping on the shore so not the nicest for swimming when we were there. But there are beautiful rocks at either end that are worth exploring.
Tallow Beach in Bouddi National Park is surrounded by beautiful bushland and offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The walk to the beach is a bit challenging but worth it. It's worth noting that camping is available but be aware that you can only drive/park at the national park gate, so you'll need to walk with your gear down to the campsite. For those up for a further walk, try Box Head, which is an easy and enjoyable hike that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Great little secluded beach. About a 10 walk from the top of the hill. Good to have an AWD vehicle to get to the trail head.
Great beach. When we arrived on the beach after doing the box head trail we were the only people there. A beautiful quiet beach again with amazing rock formations. We waited on the beach for ages and it was so relaxing. The walk down is easy but on the way back up can be a little bit of work. It is about 1 kilometre to the car park.
Yea was a nice beach. There is a lot of stuff lying around though, not rubbish but twigs and stuff. Surf wasn't the best...
