The beach is beautiful and expansive, with palm trees that give it a paradise-like feel. There are plenty of cafes, shops, and restaurants right by the beach, so there is always something to keep you entertained. The only downside is that there is a limited area for swimming due to the presence of jellyfish and crocodiles during certain seasons.
This beach is amazing. The sand and beach are fantastic. The only downside is the presence of crocodiles, which can be a deterrent from swimming in areas that are not well-protected.
The beach has a picnic area with complimentary BBQ, a lovely walking path, benches, a gym, first aid vinegar for stings, ample drinking water, and is an overall pleasant spot to visit.
This beach is a stunning tropical destination that has managed to maintain its natural beauty without succumbing to modernization like other areas. It is surrounded by lush palm trees and original vegetation, providing plenty of shade. There are upscale accommodation options available, as well as a variety of dining and drinking establishments. Additionally, visitors have access to a chemist, fashion stores, grocery stores, and a post office. For safe swimming in the crystal-clear Coral Sea, there is a stinger enclosure in place.
Definitely one of the top beaches in Australia. Swimming between the flags means no worries about crocodiles or stingers. The sand is perfect for building sandcastles, and there are great facilities nearby like toilets, water fountains, showers, tables, and BBQs. Plenty of natural shade from trees close to the water, and lots of free parking. We can't find any faults with this beach, just wish it was closer to Victoria.
