It is one of the beaches of Anavilundawa settlement, just 3.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

It is situated approximately 4km away from the Colombo-Puttalam main road, and the Anawilundawa Bird Sanctuary is just about 2km from this beach. This particular beach is an ideal spot to enjoy your evenings."

"It's a great spot to unwind and have a good time. The beach isn't overcrowded, and although the waves can get a bit rough during certain times of the year, it's still enjoyable. You have the option to either relax on the beach or explore the mangroves along the bay. The locals are friendly and welcoming."
