Guanabo beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 4th place out of 9 beaches in the Havana region 23.1 km away from its center, the city of Havana. It is one of the beaches of Guanabo settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

"The beach is really lovely, but it appears to have been neglected recently. I first visited about 8 years ago, and this is now my fifth visit. Unfortunately, it has sadly deteriorated, although it still maintains its pleasant atmosphere with restaurants nearby, rental accommodations, and plenty of friendly Cuban locals around!"
