Playita Imias is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 6th place out of 21 beaches in the Guantanamo region 62.6 km away from its center, the city of Guantanamo. It is one of the beaches of La Chivera settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and gray pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beachline of Playita Imias is covered with gray pebbles. It's very clean, the surface has a mixed fraction. The water is impeccably turquoise. The entrance is pebbly, so it is better to take special shoes.
For the main activity - sunbathing, there are umbrellas on the beach, which are provided free of charge, but there are no sunbeds and there is a natural shade that can become a lifesaver on a hot day.
