Aphrodite beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 36th place out of 110 beaches in the Cyprus region 55.9 km away from its center, the city of Nicosia. It is one of the beaches of Ayios Tychonas settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, changing rooms. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

"This beach is very clean and pleasant. You can rent a sun bed or a shaded tent for €2.50 per day. There is a friendly lady who will bring you food to your sunbed. The food is nothing extraordinary, but the service is excellent. I highly recommend the halumi sandwich and fries."

"This beach is spotless and well-maintained, having been awarded a Blue Flag in 2019. Certain areas are monitored by lifeguards, while other sections offer sunbeds for rent at an affordable price.
