Mehmetcik Plaji is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 3th place out of 51 beaches in the Northern Cyprus region 30.1 km away from its center, the city of Famagusta. It is one of the beaches of Vokolida settlement, just 1.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
