Playa de Monterrico is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 2th place out of 53 beaches in the El Salvador region 141.1 km away from its center, the city of Σαν Σαλβαδόρ. It is one of the beaches of Hacienda San Marcos settlement, just 41 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
