"The beach is a small section of the lake and has a rocky bottom. It appears to be well taken care of, but there is a significant amount of goose droppings on both the grassy area and in the water where children swim. Officially, dogs are not permitted and this is clearly stated on the signs near the bathing area. However, it seems that no one is actually enforcing this rule."
