Vergos beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 14th place out of 367 beaches in the Central Macedonia region 88.9 km away from its center, the city of Thessaloniki. It is one of the beaches of Vourvourou settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. Daily boat rental service is located nearby. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children.
