Red Sand Beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 207th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 315.9 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Charaki settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. Red Sand Beach (South Aegean) is located outside the Charaki settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.
The beach stretches on the coast of the Rhodes island and the correct question is not how to get to Red Sand Beach, but what mode of transport can be used to get to it, because this part of the coast is inaccessible by land.
