Plakoto beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 778th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 79.4 km away from its center, the city of Ερμούπολη. It is one of the beaches of Epano Kampos settlement, just 4.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Plakoto beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .
