Skala beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 778th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 49.1 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Sikamia settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.
It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The beach stretches on the coast of the Serifos island, but accessing the beach requires traversing some distance on foot.
