Kamara Beach is located on the Sea of Crete (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 242th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 93.3 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Prinos settlement, just 3.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Kamara Beach (Crete) is located outside the Prinos settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.
