Beach Pantanassa is located on the Sea of Crete (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 301th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 56.4 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Paliokastro settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and black sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
