Ascent beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 346th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 98.8 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Agios Pavlos settlement, just 1.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Ascent beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .
