Pyrgos Beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 114th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 151 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Ambelos settlement, just 2.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. Moreover, this beach is popular with naturists.
