Petani Beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 28th place out of 503 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 156.4 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Agia Thekli settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
