Dias Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 56th place out of 71 beaches in the Goa region 45 km away from its center, the city of Sanguem. It is one of the beaches of Cacra settlement, just 3.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Interestingly, the beach is named after a tragic love story involving two individuals named Dona and Paola who took their lives to avoid the anger of Dona's father."

"The beach at Dona Paula in Goa is quite secluded, with very few people around. It can be a bit tricky to find, as the access road is small and inconspicuous, but the locals are happy to point you in the right direction. Despite its quietness, the beach is incredibly serene and pristine, almost like entering a different realm altogether."
