Kakolem Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 6th place out of 71 beaches in the Goa region 27.2 km away from its center, the city of Sanguem. It is one of the beaches of Naquerim settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Kakolem Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

We had to pay a nominal fee of 50rs for parking at a private property and then descended the steps to reach the beach.
